Thank you for your long-term support and trust in Melbourne Badminton Centre. We highly value your presence as part of our centre and take pride in providing you with high-quality services and facilities.
As you may have noticed, to ensure everyone’s safety, we have installed specialized protective mats on the walls. We have chosen the best materials with the maximum thickness to spare no expense in safeguarding everyone’s well-being.
Unfortunately, we are disheartened to report that within less than a month of installing the first protective mat, it has suffered severe damage, as shown in the image below.
Currently, we are in the process of cleaning and replacing the damaged mat.
We earnestly implore all parents and coaches to remind and supervise your children or students to respect and protect the facilities of our centre. We also hope all customers to promptly stop it or inform us if you witness any such incidents.
Furthermore, we would like to reiterate the center’s policy on appropriate footwear. There are visible signs throughout our centre, requiring all customers to wear non-marking shoes while on the court. However, we still find significant black shoe marks on the courts. Please understand that this requirement is essential for the maintenance of our court surfaces.
Currently, we have activated 24-hour surveillance in our centre, with video recordings automatically stored in the cloud. If any acts of vandalism or damage to the facility are detected, we will take all necessary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone, including identifying the source of the damage and seeking appropriate compensation for economic losses incurred.
